5 Ways to Wellbeing
Duration: 30 Minutes Approx
This course is designed to broaden how we think about ways to achieve wellbeing at work. It aims to bring to life the evidence-based framework, The Five Ways to Wellbeing, promoted by both the NHS and mental health charity Mind, through interactive examples and videos and experiential learning. The Five Ways to Wellbeing (Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, Give) are simple and proven actions that help individuals and workplaces achieve balance, build resilience, and boost mental health and wellbeing. It is focused on ways the individual can practice good wellbeing in their workplace.
Wellbeing at work should not be the sole responsibility of the individual - team and organisational practices have a big part to play as well. Promoting a workplace health and wellbeing programme can help to transform any organisation as it increases employee wellness, work satisfaction, happiness, and productivity.
