About the role

Reporting to one of the Principal Consultants of Marbral Advisory, the role of Project Manager is responsible for leading large scale initiatives with our clients and delivering effective organisational change. The role will utilise previous knowledge and experience of successfully delivering complex programmes with a strong understanding of business, change and IT processes for the benefit of our clients. This role could be full time, part time, permanent or fixed term contractor.

Key responsibilities and accountabilities

 o Experience in project management and business change roles as well as management of complex commercial and stakeholder relationships. 

o Experience working in a high pressure, fast paced, large enterprise scale environment and thrive on delivering results against agreed timescales. 

o Responsible for establishing and managing a portfolio of complex change initiatives that span one or multiple lines of business to ensure the overall program is aligned to and directly supports the achievement of strategic objectives 

o Full project life cycle ownership: lead the delivery of transformation projects, securing delivery, managing and reporting on aggregated project plans and success criteria, metrics, test and deployment management activities, resourcing, managing potential conflicts in priorities. 

o Work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment demonstrating teamwork, innovation and excellence. Use analysis, experience and judgement to mediate between project team members to identify the best and most suitable solution to issues which impact delivery of the required objectives.

o Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organisation

o Provide status reporting regarding project milestones, deliverable, dependencies, risks and issues, scope change, costs, and timing while minimising financial risks, communicating across leadership

o Fully understands and considers the implications of decisions on timescales, budget, other team members and resource.

o Implement the change processes in a way such that appropriate documents are comprehensively written, and the key people are brought together for each stage gate review.

Analytical mindset and able to cope with pressure. Mature, reliable, able to manage organisation of large scale projects. Excellent people management skills and able to manage team members on various engagements. Empathic communicator, able to see things from the other person's point of view. Well-presented and business like. A team-player.

o Specific Job Skills: Demonstrated success in project management roles for large scale projects across the the Finance, Legal, Utilities, Logistics, Telecommunications, Construction or Government sectors; experience of formal Project Management methodologies in the implementation and delivery of this work. Possesses excellent document management and organisational skills. Able to communicate via written media. Ideally, PRINCE2 certified or other formal Project Management qualification.

o Computer Skills: Must be proficient in use of MS Office particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint to advanced level, Internet and email. Microsoft Project at an intermediate level is also an advantage.

o Literacy and Numeracy: Able to understand percentages, ratios and intermediate business calculations. Must have good written and verbal English and be fluent in writing business correspondence. 

Qualifications
